Tek has been making beats since the late 90's. Founder of Seven Oddties Records, an Underground Hip Hop record label in Chicago, IL. Established in 2000. He previously kept all his production in house for the labels artists. Recently he has started making his production available to the public. If you are looking for raw, hard hitting, grimey Hip Hop, you are definitely in the right place.
"As far back as I can remember, I have always used Akai MPC's for my production. I'm not against making beats any other way but to me, there is NOTHING like banging out an idea live on the MPC pads. Over the years I have had almost all of the models. From the MPC60, 2000XL, MPC500, MPC2500, MPC4000 (to name a few) Now a days I use a Akai MPC One (in standalone mode) for all of my production."
